Amsterdam, The Netherlands – Crime, it is said, is the definer of civilization. The system of jurisprudence that mankind has created is above all what marks us as more evolved than other species. Our ability to control our base desires and punish those who decide to eschew that is something other animal species have not been able to accomplish. Crime is the test of that system and with each conviction we affirm what makes us distinct and what makes us human. Scrape TV

New York, NY – “American empire in the world is reaching the end of its road, and its next rulers must limit their interference to their own borders,” President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a speech to the United Nations on Tuesday. ”As long as the aggressors, because of their financial, political and propaganda powers, not only escape punishment, but even claim righteousness, and as long as wars are started and nations are enslaved in order to win votes in elections, not only will the problems of the global community remain unsolved, but they will be increasingly exacerbated.” Scrape TV

Washington, D.C. – While the Bush administration continues to lob verbal assaults against the Russian government for their actions in South Ossetia and Georgia, critics are pointing out more and more the superficial similarities to the U.S.’s own actions in Iraq.
